HEY, I’M BRIAN

 

The Beginning:

My story starts in 1997 when I started my gym career for a company called Fitness Exchange. I walked through the entrance which was located in the old Lloyds 58′ building (now the Willis building), and began what will be, the start of a career that i have absolutely fallen in love with.

Just over a year later, i moved within the company around the corner to the club i have spent for the next 2 decades.

I have worked from the same facility based in the Financial District of the City of London for over 2 decades now, and counting over 15,000 hours of training with clients on a 1:1 basis.

My passion is for all sports, Human movement, Human biology, Sports Science and Anti-inflammatory eating. I want to inform and help as many people as possible, and help them understand – What it is they really want?, What are the mitigating factors stopping them? and What changes are necessary for them to achieve their goals. 

My mission is to help people achieve their personal goals and growing stronger mentally, as well as physically. I coach correct form and technique, and I want to hand over the knowledge required for YOU to do it all by your-self in the future.

I give up to date knowledge on nutrition and training, because i’m constantly learning myself and finding out new ideas. This industry is constantly evolving and morphing, it can be hard to keep up and filter out all the good stuff that have validity, NOT just a gimmick.

Giving you this information and showing you just why you have been unsuccessful in losing weight or body fat and keep it off. Let alone being able to show off a nice set of Ab’s. You’ll learn Why you haven’t been able to grow your muscles. Why you’re still not sleeping well and even though you are doing all the things that help distract you from your problems, Not dealing with the route cause is crippling your chances of success.                                                                              

MY GENERAL CLIENT:

For over 20 years, I have worked with the same demographic of population:- Male and Female Office Workers that sit down all day. Hunched over their keyboards, working in front of a computer screen, being fixed in the one position for hours on end with their necks straining forward. They may even cross their legs or be in some other strange leg pose.

Or maybe i’ll work with a Broker, Underwriter or a Trader that will walk with files always on one side putting strain on the other side, while having issues with the arm/shoulder the files are on. They may also experience back ache because they stand in one fixed weak position while talking to someone in person, or maybe on 1-4 phones while making a deal. Some even wear heeled shoes that crush feet and tighten the calf muscles.  

All this results in:-

  • Tight calf and ankles.
  • Sore, cracking knees when walking up or down stairs.
  • Poor glute and abdominal activation and poor mobility and strength in the hips, causing hip and leg  issues as well as sciatica.
  • Lower back pain – esp standing up or standing for long periods.
  • Upper body, issues could be rounded/hunched shoulders.
  • Tight chest and a forward neck, maybe causing headaches, migraines
  • Poor nose breathing patterns

Put your hand on your chest and the other on your belly. now breath in and out. Your belly should move. NOT your chest-

I have also repeatedly come across the same goals as well:-

  • Weight/fat loss,
  • Increases in muscle tone, strength, endurance and mass.
  • Improvements in their cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, core stability and posture awareness. 
  • More knowledge in free weight and machine technique. 
  • What, When and How much food to eat and not to eat.

All this can easily be achieved by following the steps i have developed on myself first over a long period of time. Even though i know the details, i had to make it as easy as possible for myself, because i know even i wouldn’t, and didn’t done it because it was too much hassle!….

I also noticed that it wasn’t all about training hard and eating clean that got the results that stuck. It became very apparent that a lot of aches and pains, sickness, rashes, steepness nights, poor digestion, low energy, irregular toilet habits, bloating, farting and burping, sugar cravings, not setting goals or giving up – is ALL down to some form or Stress, Inflammation and poor Mental Health Issues that haven’t been addressed yet.

We’ll have to, and will work together to leave no stone upturned to find the right tools for you to get exactly what you’re wanting. I can also promise you’ll get so much.

I have worked with everyone from 21-74 years old. Fat, Thin, Very fit to very unfit. Fussy eaters. Over eaters, Under eaters, Vegetarians, Vegans. People with food intolerance, autoimmune diseases  Total novices, Experienced trainers,
